Here at BRUVIC German Shepherds we selectively breed to improve anatomical virtues using the most modern lines available without compromising the most important aspect of the German Shepherd - a noble, loyal, all-round companion dog.

In addition to breeding according to the Canine Association of Western Australia's regulations, we go one step further - as committed and actively working members of The German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia, we breed according to their even more stringent guidelines. i.e. under GSDCA rules, all breeding stock must pass the National Hip & Elbow Scheme - therefore have an 'A' & 'Z' certificate.

All puppies offered for sale are from generations of hip and elbow x-rayed stock. Parents are Breed Surveyed, therefore anatomically worthy for breeding, in addition to having been subjected to temperament and gun testing for soundness in all aspects.

We pride ourselves on raising healthy, strong puppies which have been given the very best of attention and socialisation available.

Our puppies are born in a whelping room inside our house and remain there until such time as they need the extra space provided outside in our grassed puppy run. We spend many hours with our babies in order that we turn out well adjusted German Shepherds suitable as family companions. We encourage family members and friends to visit and handle the puppies. Once weaned, we still insist that the 'Mums' continue to spend a certain amount of time with their pups to teach them their 'doggy' ways and manners. Gentle 4 legged Aunts and Uncles are also granted occasional access to assist in socialisation.

All puppies are vaccinated, tattooed, vet checked and come with a very comprehensive information folder which includes a money back guarantee, diet and care instructions, a five generation pedigree and full colour photos of the pup's 'family'. CAWA registration papers will be forwarded once all transfers have been effected. We strive to provide ongoing advice and care to all of our puppy buyers.
